Vijay’s statement on Nagapattinam rally
Vijay is all set to make his first big move towards plunging in politics. The actor will address a large public meeting in Nagapattinam condemning the Srilankan navy’s killing of Tamil fishermen and also the apathy of Indian government in protecting the Tamil fishermen. This will be his first ever public meeting after his political inclinations were made public. The whole event is expected to have large political tones as Vijay’s father SA Chandrasekaran had met AIADMK supremo J.Jayalaithaa for the second time a few days ago.
In a statement released today, Vijay had called upon his fans and all general public to join him in the protest meeting. He has said that the eight crores Tamils living in this world will rise up together to support if anything happens to even one Tamil anywhere in the world.
Vijay will address the protest meeting from the VTP College Grounds in Kadanpady Road, Nagapattinam at 4pm.
