3Idiots Vijay and Surya ??

In a decision made by makers and producers of the Tamil version of ‘3 idiots’, Suriya is out of the film since he demanded a hefty sum of Rs. 8 crore and also the share in profit derived from the Telugu film which is calculated at Rs. 10 crore for Suriya alone.
This hefty demand had made the producers resort to Vijay since Suriya’s demand had come as a shocker to Gemini Film Circuit. Suriya’s market in the Telugu Film Industry and Andhra Pradesh was huge and so, the actor made the demand.
Now, when the producers returned to Vijay who was earlier willing to act in the film, the makers and producers also made another decision to introduce a fourth character besides Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth. Here, Suryah is said to play the fourth character.
What could be seen as a crazy decision by the producers also has potential to work in favor of the film. It is not Suriya who will be part of the film but it is the sex-crazy SJ Suryah who will be playing the fourth character in the film.
Reporters will be queuing up on Shankar to ask him if this decision would help him fetch mass audiences including women to the theaters since they would be petrified with the presence of SJ Suryah in the film. Hopefully, this decision is expected to work.
